Sarah and Nabil had a beautiful, colorful and intimate Mehndi.  Sarah and Nabil first met while working for Center for Global Development (a non-profit think tank focused on reducing global poverty).  When I think of Nabil and Sarah I think of a couple that is committed to leaving a small footprint and a big impact on this world.  This same compassion could very easily be seen in Nabil’s family during their mehndi through their kind eyes and interactions with one another.

The mehndi was set up at one of Nabil’s aunt’s homes in Chantilly, Virginia.  Rose, Nabil’s brother’s fiancé (who’s wedding I’ll be photographing next year in Los Angelas, whoop whoop!) did Sarah’s make up.  They had set up a tent and had several family dance performances.  Both of them had a very laid back approach and you can feel that vibe when you look through their photos.  Their Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City Nikkah will be coming up soon!
