Here are photos from people demanding change in Washington D.C. right outside the White House. The barricades were set pretty far back but you can view the house in some of the images. Mayor Bowser came and spoke with press momentarily and there are a few images of her here.
The images are mostly in black and white because what’s being asked for by the protestors is quite simple. Some would say it’s as easy as black and white.
“You don’t stick a knife in a man’s back nine inches and then pull it out six inches and say you’re making progress … No matter how much respect, no matter how much recognition, whites show towards me, as far as I am concerned, as long as it is not shown to everyone of our people in this country, it doesn’t exist for me.” ―
